Tegusonly is proud to announce the introduction of the Florida Firebelly tegu lizard. (just a name I made up,

 

had to call them something).   At last, there is new and unique Tegu that is easy recognizable at first glance.

 

I am licensed by the State of Florida to capture Argentine Tegus that were released from a large breeding facility years

 

ago. A small percentage of the Tegus I capture  have a beautiful red, orange, yellow coloration on the underside. These

 

distinct markings are rarely found outside the specific Southern Florida population that I work with.

 

Florida Firebelly's are true Tupinambis merianae in every respect except for the color variant on the underside. I have  a limited supply of these outstanding animals in various sizes for sale at this time.
